Sony hat während der CES, die neusten Produkte für 2012 angekündigt. Darunter auch den Projektor-Camcorder HDR-PJ740VE, der ab April in Deutschland erhältlich sein wird – wir durften uns auf der CES das US-Modell HDR-PJ760V genauer anschauen. Einziger Unterschied zwischen den beiden: Der interne Speicher des HDR-PJ740VE hat 32GB (und der Camcorder nimmt 50p/50i/25p auf), der des PJ760VE hat 96GB (und nimmt im NTSC-Format auf). Sonys Handycam HDR-PJ740VE wird ab April für 1.399 Euro (UVP) im Handel erhältlich sein. Sony hat dem Handycam HDR-PJ760V Spitzenfunktionen und top Bedienteile eingebaut. Der eingebaute Projektor ist zweifellos ein hervorstechendes Merkmal, der Camcorder ist aber auch mit umfangreichen Features ausgestattet, das ihn zu einer guten Wahl für Profis und alle anderen macht, die nach einem Top-Videoaufnahmegerät suchen.
